Meeting of the Faculty of Politics and Economics Council

The Faculty Council meeting was held on Tuesday, October 13, chaired by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Nour El-Basrati, Dean of the Faculty, and attended by the Vice Deans, Heads of Academic Departments, and esteemed Council members.

The Dean opened the meeting by welcoming the members and wishing them and the Faculty continued success. The Council then proceeded to discuss the agenda, which included faculty affairs; education and student affairs; reviewing and deciding on submitted transfer and enrollment applications in accordance with the Faculty’s internal regulations; following up on registration procedures for postgraduate students pursuing master’s and doctoral degrees; and approving the plan for cultural and scientific events and seminars scheduled to take place during October and November.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Dean thanked all Council members for their efforts and contributions.

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Tarek Ali, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Nour El-Basrati, Dean of the Faculty, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Al-Shaimaa Abdel-Salam, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, the Faculty of Politics and Economics organized a seminar entitled “The Be Ready Initiative.”

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Tarek Ali, President of the University, the Faculty of Politics and Economics participated in all sessions of “Egypt Forum 2026” through its professors and several assistant staff members.
